Given,

u = -12cm

u = -12cmf = +8cm

u = -12cmf = +8cmho = +3cm

\tt\red{Using \:mirror\:formula:}

\rm\large{\implies{1÷v+ 1÷u = 1÷f}}

1\v - 1\30 = 1\8

1\v - 1\30 = 1\81\v = 1\8 + 1\30

1\v - 1\30 = 1\81\v = 1\8 + 1\301\v = 3+2\60

1\v - 1\30 = 1\81\v = 1\8 + 1\301\v = 3+2\601\v = 5\60 = 1\12

v = +12cm

\tt\red{Therefore,\: the \:image\: will\:be\: formed\: at\: a\: distance\:of \:12cm\:behind\:the\:mirror}

m = v\um = -12÷ -30m = +0.4

m = v\um = -12÷ -30m = +0.4m = hi\ho

m = v\um = -12÷ -30m = +0.4m = hi\ho0.4 = hi\ho

m = v\um = -12÷ -30m = +0.4m = hi\ho0.4 = hi\hohi= +0.4cm

\tt\green{Therefore,\:the \:image\:formed\:is\:diminished\:in\:size}
