Answer:

2 KG

Explanation:

As we know that,

F = ma

6=m3

6/3=m

m=2KG

The mass of the object is 3 kg.

GIVEN

Acceleration = 3.0 m/s²

Force = 6.0 N

TO FIND

Mass of the object.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

From Newton's second law of motion;

F = ma

Where,

F = Force exerted on the object

m =Mass of the object.

a = Acceleration produced by the object.

Putting the values in the above formula we get;

3m = 6

Dividing LHS and RHS by 3

3m/3 = 6/3

m = 3 kg

Hence, The mass of the object is 3 kg.
