In the solution which is formed,

 \frac{mass}{volume}  = density

 \frac{100 + 35}{v}  = 1.5

 \frac{135}{v}  = 1.5

1.5v = 135

v =  \frac{135}{1.5}  = 90

therefore volume of solution = 90

therefore,

Concentration of X in solution =

=

  \frac{mass \: of \: x}{vol \: of \: solution}   \times 100

  \frac{35}{90}   \times 100

38.88%
