An object gets velocity of 10m/s after applying a force of 500N for 10 second lf the mass of the object is equal to 1000kg what was its velocity before applying the force

Here, v = 10 m/s ; F = 500N ; t = 10s ; m=1000 kg
We know that,
F = ma or F = m × (v-u)/t
=> 500 = 1000× (10-u)/10
=> 5 = 10 - u
=> u = 10-5 = 5
Hence, initial velocity is 5 m/s
