Hey there!!

Here is your answer ↓↓

In order to find the mass, when kinetic energy , velocity is given, we use this formula :

Kinetic Energy = ( 1 ÷ 2 ) ( m ) ( v² )

m = mass

v = velocity ( 8 m/s )

Kinetic energy = 480 J

480 = ( 1 ÷ 2 ) ( m ) ( 8² )

480 = ( 1 ÷ 2 ) ( m ) ( 64 )

480 = 32m

m = 480 ÷ 32

m = 15

The mass is 15 kg

Hope my answer helps!

The velocity of an object = 8 m/s

The kinetic energy of an object = 480 J

Mass of an object,

Kinetic energy = ½ * m * v ^ 2

480 = ½ * m * 8 * 8

480 = m * 4 * 8

480 / (4 * 8) = m

15 kg = mass of an object

The velocity of an object = 8 m/s

The kinetic energy of an object = 480 J

Mass of an object,

Kinetic energy = ½ * m * v ^ 2

480 = ½ * m * 8 * 8

480 = m * 4 * 8

480 / (4 * 8) = m

15 kg = mass of an object
