an object has moved through a distance. can it have a zero displacement? if yes, support your answer with an example...

moving object can't have 0 displacement . when the moving oject comes at rest it will be 0

distance - the actual length between two positons
no the displacement can be zero when the body moves to a certain distance and it come back to the same position then the displacement can be zero
example is in the given picture
a body moves to a certain distance then total distance is the perimeter of the length = h +h = 2h
displacement is O ( note thisbis the example when u throw a ball on the table it will cime back to the same position after falling :)
