An object is kept at 10cm from concave mirror whose centre of curvature length is 20 cm find the nature of image formed also find the height of the image.

The length of center of curvature will give the radius (R).

So,R= 20 cm

f = R/2

f= 20/2

 =10 cm

1/v+1/u =1/f

1/v=1/f+1/u

   =1/10+1/10

   =2/10

   =1/5

v= 5 cm

   

 Hence the nature of the image is enlarged and virtual,erect

m=v/u

  =5/10

 =1/2

m=h'/h
