Answer:

πr unit and 2πr unit, 0 unit

Explanation:

According to the given question,

Radius = r

And we are asked to find the distance and displacement in two cases.

Case-a)

When the object completes half of the circle it means that its at the opposite side of the circle from where it started.

Now in this case, distance = displacement according to the definition of distance and displacement.

Thus, we know that one full circle = 2πr

And so half of it = 2πr/2 = πr unit

Hence the answer of case a) is πr unit.

Case-b)

When the object completes it one full circle then according to the definition of distance and displacement,

Distance = Circumference of the circle, which is 2πr unit

And displacement = 0 unit

As the object comes back to the same position from where it started.

Therefore, the answer of case b) is 2πr unit and 0 unit.

Answer:

πr unit and 2πr unit, 0 unit

Explanation:

According to the given question,

Radius = r
