An object is moving in a circle of radius 'r' calculate the distance and displacement (a) when it completes half the circle ( b) when it completes one full circle

radius = r

displacement ----> minimum distance from initial point to final point

a) distance = circumference of circle/2
distance = 2πr/2
distance = πr

displacement = diameter = 2r

b) distance = circumference of circle
distance = 2πr

displacement = zero ( because the distance from initial point to final point is zero)
