An object is moving in a circular path of radius 3.5m . If it completes one full cycle what will be the displacement and what is the distance travelled

Answer:

The displacement will be zero as intial and final position is same.

Distance covered =circumference of the circle

=2×22÷7×3.5

=2×22÷7×35÷10

=22

Thus distance is 22m

Distance here will be the circumference of the circle..i.e. 22m but displacement will be zero..as the object has completed one cycle.that means it's initial and final position are same due to which , displacement is zero
