Solution :-

given that,

→ Radius of circular path = 7 cm .

so,

→ Circumference of path = 2πr = 2 * (22/7) * 7 = 44 cm .

now, given that,

→ The distance covered by object along path = 44 cm .

then,

→ Circumference of path = The distance covered by object .

therefore, we can conclude that, the object completes one round and came back at initial position .

→ Final position of object = Initial position .

therefore,

→ Displacement = Final position - Initial position = 0 (Option 3) (Ans.)

To Find : the displacement of the object after it has covered 44cm along its path.

Solution:

Displacement = Final position - Initial position

circular path of radius 7cm.  

Circumference  = 2 π (radius)

Circumference  =  2 ( 22/7) * 7  = 44 cm

Hence in distance of 44 cm  object reached back to initial position.

Hence Final position and initial position are same

=> Displacement = 0
