The velocity of the image approaching towards the mirror is 25 m/s.

Explanation:

Given data:

Speed of plane mirror = 5 m/s

Speed of object = 10 m/s

Solution:

  • Formula to calculate velocity is given by:
  • V = [2 (Velocity of mirror ) + velocity of object ]

V = [ 2 x 10 + 5 ]

V = 20 + 5

V = 25 m/s

Thus the velocity of the image approaching towards the mirror is 25 m/s.
