an object is moving with uniform acceleration its Velocity after 5 seconds is 25m /s and after 8 sec it is 34m/s . find the distance traveled by the object in 12 seconds.​

Distance traveled by the object in 12 seconds

As the acceleration is constant throughout the motion , so we need to apply equation's of  motion .

\orange{\bigstar}  Solution  \green{\bigstar}

Apply 1st equation of motion ,

\to \bf v=u+at

Object's velocity after 5 sec is 25 m/s

\to \rm 25=u+a(5)\\\\\to \rm u+5a=25...(1)

Object's velocity after 8 sec it is 34 m/s

\to \rm 34=u+a(8)\\\\\to \rm u+8a=34...(2)

Solve (2) - (1) ,

\to \rm 3a=9\\\\\to \bf a=3\ m/s^2

Sub. a value in (1) ,

\to \rm u+5(3)=25\\\\\to \rm u+15=25\\\\\to \bf u=10\ m/s

Now , we need to find the distance traveled in 12 second's ,

Apply 2nd equation of motion ,

\pink \bigstar\ \; \bf s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2\\\\\to \rm s=(10)(12)+\dfrac{1}{2}(3)(12)^2\\\\\to \rm s=120+216\\\\\to \bf s=336\ m\ \; \pink{\bigstar}
