Let x be the distance covered by the
object in t seconds.
Velocity = dx/dt
dx/ dt = 5 m / sec
dx = 5 dt
Integrating
x = 5t + C
When t = 0 , x =0
=> C = 0
Now we have , x = 5t
When t = 5 sec , x = 5 (5) = 25 m.
I hope this answer help you

Answer is 25 metres.
For a given speed and given time, the distance travelled by the body is from the formula:
Distance = Speed x Time
Given that speed is 5 m/s and time is 5 sec, distance will be 5 x 5
Hence distance covered by the body in 5 seconds will be 25 metres.
