Answer:

a) 10 cm.

b) 1

Explanation:

It can be done by the mirror formula

v = image dist. = ?

u = obj. Dist. = 10 cm

f = focal length = 5cm

1/f= 1/v + 1/u

1/v = 1/f - 1/u

1/v = 1/5 - 1/10

1/ v = 2/10-1/10

1/v = 1/10

v = 10 cm

So the image is also formed at 10 cm to the right of Pole which means the object was placed at the centre of curvature.

The magnification of the image = v/u = 10/10 = 1

So the image formed is of the same size as the object.
