 \implies  \dfrac{1}{30}  =  \dfrac{1}{v}  -  \dfrac{1}{( - 50)}

 \implies  \dfrac{1}{30}  =  \dfrac{1}{v}   +   \dfrac{1}{ 50}

 \implies  \dfrac{1}{v}   =   \dfrac{1}{30}  -  \dfrac{1}{50}

 \implies  \dfrac{1}{v}   =   \dfrac{5 - 3}{150}

 \implies  \dfrac{1}{v}   =   \dfrac{2}{150}

 \implies  v = 75 \: cm
