Given:

  • u = - 10cm
  • R = - 15cm
  • f = R/2 = - 7.5cm

To Find:

  • Calculate position, nature and magnification of the image formed.

Solution:

Applying mirror formula,

➠ 1/v + 1/u = 1/f

➠ 1/v + 1/-10 = 1/7.5

➠ 1/v = 7.5 -10/75

➠ 1/v = -2.5/75

➠ v = - 30 cm

Hence, The image formed is real and inverted

Now, Let's find magnification

➠ m = -v/u

➠ m = -30/-10

➠ m = -3 cm

Answer:

\sf\fbox\red{Answer:-}

Solution:

Applying mirror formula,

1 / v + 1 / u = 1 / f

1 / v + 1/- 10 = 1/7.5

1 / v = 7.5 - 10/75

1 / v = - 2.5/75

V-30 cm

Hence, The image formed is real and

inverted

Now, Let's find magnification

m = -v/u

m / m = - 30/- 10

m = -3 cm
