r = 30 cm

Image is formed at the focus. focus = 30/2 = 15 cm i.e. 15 cm behind the convex mirror.

The farthest point you can place an object is at infinity. So then, image is formed at the focus (behind the mirror).

R=2 f

30=2*f

f=15 cm

The image is 15 cm behind the convex mirror.
