An object is placed at a distance of 15cm from a convex mirror having a focal length of 10cm. Calculate the distance of the image from the mirror

u= -15

f = +10

1/f = 1/u+ 1/v

1/v = 1/f -1/u

1/v = 1/10 - 1/(-15)

1/v =3+2/30

1/v= 5/30

v = 30/5

therefore....v= 6 cm
