an object is placed in front of a concave mirror, produces a real and magnified image. if the focal length of the mirror is 20cm, what is the position of the object? the answer is 10cm... but I can't understand because if the object is placed between the point and the focusof a concave mirror then the image will be virtual, erect and magnified . plz help me

the ans is wrong.... ans will be >40cm

ritujha11: if 20cm is the focal length the 40 will be it's centre of curvature and if the object is placed at the centre of curvature the image formed will be of the same size not magnified
