I hope that lo cm which is written in this question is 10 cm

object distance u = -10 cm ( negative as object is infront of convex lens)

focal length f = 15 cm ( focal length of convex lens is positive)

v=?

m= ?

1/v-1/u = 1/f

so 1/v = 1/f +1/u

= 1/15 - 1/10

= 2-3/30= -1/30

so v = -30 cm which means that the object is formed in front of the convex lens.

m = h'/h = v/u = -30/-10= 3

so the image is 3 times greater than the object.

positive sign means the image is virtual and erect also it is enlarged
