answer
This is a common optics experiment we use at school workshops.
The answer is (360/θ)−1(360/θ)−1. Theta is the angle in degrees. For 60 degrees, the Number of images is 5.
You can make your very own setup at home to test it. It feels good.
I used thermocol and cardboard. I marked the angles using a protractor and cut the grooves based on angles (I used 30, 60, 90, 120 and parallel). You can test the results. It works brilliantly.
