\large\underline\mathrm\red{Solution}

Height raised, h = 10m

Final velocity, v = 0 m/s

Acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8 m/s²

Acceleration due to object, a = -9.8 m/s²

\large\underline\mathrm\red{Now}, we know that v² = u² + 2ah

\implies0 = u² + 2 × (-9.8) × 10

\implies-u = -2 × 9.8 × 10

\impliesu = √196 m/s

\implies14 m/s

\large\underline\mathrm\red{Also}, v = u + at

\implies0 = 14 m/s - 9.8 m/s² × t

\impliest = 1.43s
