Answers: for g = 10 m sqr per sec

  1. 14.14 m per sec
  2. 1.414 sec

Explanation:

  1. Use v sqr - u sqr = - 2gh

v = 0;

u sqr = 2gh

u = sqrt (2gh)

2. us v = u - gt

subs u, v, g
