An object is thrown vertically upwards and rises to a height of 5 m. The velocity with which the object was thrown upwards is (Take, g=9.8 m/sec.square)

S = 5m

v = 0

a = -9.8m/s²

therefore,

v²-u² = -2aS

=> u² = 98

=> u = √98

=> 9.89 or 9.9m/s
