Virtual, erect and diminished.

Explanation:

An object is placed between infinity and the pole (P) of a convex mirror. The the rays will be reflected such that the rays appear to converge behind the mirror, between the pole (P) and focus (F) of the mirror.

The image so formed will be erect but smaller in size than the object. Since the image appears to form behind the mirror, image is virtual.
