Answer:

The distance traveled by the object in 2 seconds is 30 meters and in 04 seconds = 60 meters

Explanation:

Given

The object moves with a constant velocity of 15 m/s. We Have to calculate the total distance traveled by it 2 seconds and also calculate the distance traveled if the time is doubled.

(a)

We know that

Speed = Distance / Time ………………………………………………………….(1)

Here

Speed = 15 m/s and Time =02 seconds

Therefore,

⇒ 15 = Distance / 02

⇒ Distance = 30 m/s

(b)

Here

Time= 04 Seconds

Speed = 15 m/s

Distance = Speed * Time ……………………………………………. (From Eq.1)

⇒ Distance = 15 * 04

⇒ Distance = 60 m/s

Hence Distance traveled in 02 seconds = 30 meters and in 04 seconds = 60 meters.
