Hi dear !!

take the following steps into consideration :-

mass = 5 kg

u = 0

v = 10 m/s

momentum => KE = P² /2m

=> 1/2× 5× 10² = p² /2× 5

p = √ 2500

=> P => 50 Kg m / s

hope you get your answer !!

thanks !!

What is momentum ?

Momentum is the product of mass and velocity .

Formula :

momentum = mass × velocity.

Given :

mass = 5 kg

velocity = 10 m/s

Momentum = 10 m/s × 5 kg

                   = 50 kg m/s

The momentum of the object is 50 kg m/s

Hope it helps
