Answer: Given;- ho = 10 cm, u = -30 cm, f = -8 cm

According mirror formula:-

1/u + 1/v = 1/f

-1/30 + 1/v = -1/8

1/v = -1/8 - (-1/30)

1/v = -15 + 4/120

1/v = - 11/120

v = -120/11

According to magnification formula:-

m = hi/ho = -v/u

hi/10 = -( -120/11 × -30)

hi = -40/11
