An object of height 4.0cm is placed at a distance of 30 cm from the optical centre O of a convex lens of focal lenght 20 cm.Find the height and size of image distance from mirror. draw a ray diagram and find the position and size of the image formed . mark optical centre O and principal focus F on the diagram . also find the approximate ratio of the size of the image to the size of the object.

The position will be beyond 2f1. Real and inverted . Magnified
V = 60 cm
H = 8cm
Magnification = -2

MakeshRajaPriya: what is the ratio?
MakeshRajaPriya: 1:2 is it right?
anju1011: 2:1

Image of Distance (V) is 60cm

Magnification is -2

Height of Image is -8cm... Because magnification has -2 and height of object 4cm

Conves lens And Object Placed between F and 2F... And image will formed beyond 2F
