an object of height 4 cm is placed at a distance of 18 cm from concave mirror having focal length 12 cm. find the position, nature and height of the image.

Explanation position of the image will be beyond c because the object it is kept between centre of curvature and focus.

I came to know this as you told the focal length is 12cm and the radius of curvature is double of focal length and the distance of a object from the mirror is 18 cm that means the object is between c and f and whenever the object is between c and f the image formation takes place beyond c.

usually the nature of the image is formed beyond c is real inverted and magnified and magnified image means it is larger than the object.
