An object of mass 10 kg is placed on the surface of a table of height 1.5 metre. The object is lifted up to a height of 4.5 meter from the ground level. Calculate its potential energy with respect to the surface of the table and also the ground level. (Acceleration due to gravity is 10m/s2)

potential energy=MGH
h=4.5+1.5=6
10*10*6=600

smithageorge: Not finished though but still

P.E=K.E (Potential energy of ball is converted into Kinetic energy when dropped)

mgh=1/2mv^2

Put the respective values ,

M= 8kg

H= 10m

G=9.81 m/s^2

You'll get the following ans

V=14 m/s
