K.e. = 1/2 mgh ( in this case as the ball is being dropped )
= 1/2 * 5 kg* 9.8 (ms -2 )* 10m
= 245 joules
= 1/2 * 5 kg* 9.8 (ms -2 )* 10m
= 245 joules

h = 10/2 m = 5 m
m = 5 kg
Potential energy at 10 m = mgh and kinetic energy is 0
at the half way the potential and kinetic are equal
i.e.
1/2mgh = 1/4mv²
mgh = 1/2mv²
5 x 9.8 x 5 = 245 joules
m = 5 kg
Potential energy at 10 m = mgh and kinetic energy is 0
at the half way the potential and kinetic are equal
i.e.
1/2mgh = 1/4mv²
mgh = 1/2mv²
5 x 9.8 x 5 = 245 joules
