An object of mass 50 kg is accelerated uniformly from a velocity of 4m/s to 8m/s in 8s . Calculate the initial and final momentum of the object. Also find the magnitude of the force exerted on the object.

Momentum = p

p = m*v

m = 50Kb

v₁ = 4m\s

v₂ = 8m\s

Initial momentum = 50*4 = 200Kg*m\s

Final momentum = 50*8 =400Kg*m\s

Now,

a = v-u\t

a = 8-4/8

a = 1/2m\s²

F = m*a

F = 50*1/2

F = 25N
