s=ut+1/2at^2

s=0+1/2*5*10^2

=10^3 m

as object starting from rest so it's initial velocity is zero metre per second and acceleration is 5 metre per second square so we find final velocity is that we equal to 50 metre per second after that we find displacement which is the distance covered by the object so we use second equation of motion is there is equal to half a t square + duty can we get displacement is 250 m this is the distance covered by object in 10 second answer is 250 m or 0.250 km
