v=u+at

u=0

=0+5m/s²×60s

a=5m/s²

=0+300m/s

t=1 min

So, t=60sec

=300m/s

s=ut+1/2at²

=0×60+1/2×5×60²

=9000m

CORRECT QUESTION

An object starting from rest travels with an acceleration of 5m/s what will be it's velocity after 3s?

GIVEN :

  • Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

  • Acceleration (a) = 5 m/s²

  • Time (t) = 3 seconds

TO FIND :

  • Final velocity (v)

SOLUTION :

We have :-

➣\begin{gathered}\underline{\boldsymbol \color{fuchsia}{First\: Equation \:of\: Motion :}} \\\end{gathered}

\huge\color{blue} { \boxed {\boxed{ \bf\color{blue}{v =u + at }}}}

WHERE :

  • v = final velocity

  • u = initial velocity

  • a = acceleration

  • t = time

Putting all values :

➡  \: \tt{v = 0 +  \bigg(5 \times 3 \bigg)}

➡ \:  \tt{v = 0 + 15}

➥ \: \boxed{ \tt\color{red}{v = 15}}

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ANSWER :-

  • Final velocity after 3 seconds is 15 m/s
