Hey mate here is ur ans

we know that
s=ut +1/2 gt*t
here we take u as 0 so
s=1/2*g*t*t
=>5=1/2*g**5*5
=>5*2/5*5=g
=>10/25=g
so g=0.4m/s squared

hope it helps you

Hey Mate! Here's ur answer.
An object takes 5 sec. to reach the ground from a height of 5 metre on a planet.
So Gravitational pull => 1 m/sec.^2

I Hope It Helps.....☺️

Yash061: yeah but i don't know the full calculation but it is clear that an object dropped from height of 5m takes 5sec to reach ground so distance covered in 1sec is 1m.
Yash061: so g = 1m/sec^2
Anonymous: that's velocity not acceleration
Anonymous: 1m in 1 s
Yash061: if g= 0.4m/sec^2 so it will not reach the ground in 5sec.
Yash061: yeah ok...
Yash061: maybe ur answer is correct i don't know.
