An object travels 20 m in 2 s and then another 15 m in 2 s . What is the average speed of the object

Total distance= 20+15 m

. =35 m

Total time= 2+2s

. =4s

Average speed= Distance/Time

= 35/4

=8.3 m/s ans

Time1 = 4 s

Distance2 = 20 m

Time 2 = 10 s

Total Distance(D) = 20m + 20m = 40m

Total Time(T) = 4s + 10s = 14s

Average Speed = Total Distance(D) / Total Time(T) = D/T = 40/14

= 2.857 m/s
