Average speed = 2S/ t₁ + t₂

In 10 secs distance covered = 10 x5 = 50 m

In next 20 secs distance covered = 10 x 20 = 200m

Total distance = 200 + 50 = 250m

So average speed =  2 x 250 / 10 + 20 = 500/30 = 50/3 m/s

Hope This Helps You!

average speed =total distance /total time

total time= 10+20=30s

total distance =s1+s2

where s1 =v1t1

given.V1=5m/s

T1=10s

S1=5(10)=50m

now,S2=V2 ×T2

given V2=10m/s

T2=20s

S2=10(20)= 200m

now average speed = 50+200/30

250/30

25/3 m/s

I hope this will help u :)
