Answer:

Mass=1

Explanation:

If the object weighs 10 Newton in Earth then this answer is correct.we know that gravity on Earth is equal to 9.8 m/s^2.we know that

Weight=mass×gravity

10=m×9.8

Or

m×9.8=10

m=10÷9.8

m=1.0204.....

m=1 kg

Mass = 1 kilogram (kg)

GIVEN:- weighs = 10N

TO FIND:- mass

SOLUTION:-

  • The Gravity of Earth's acceleration is approximately 9.81 m/s2, which means that ignoring the effects of air resistance and the speed of an object falling freely, we can round it to 10 m/s² for calculation purposes

  • To find mass (m) when you already know the weight (w), use the formula mass = weight divided by gravitational acceleration (g).

m =   \frac{w}{g}  \\ m =  \frac{10}{10}  \\ m = 1kg

Hence, mass = 1kg
