Weight in air = 50 N
Weight in water = 40 N
F = _ _?

F = Weight in air - Weight in water
F = 50 - 40
F = 10 N

Hey there!!

The Lifting force will be the difference of its weight in air and that in water.

We're already given its weight in air= 50N
and weight in water= 40N

So, The Lifting force= 50-40=10N

The required answer is 10N

Hope it helps you.
