The observer is 203m away from the tower; and can see the top at an angle of 30°.

Let h be the height of the tower. Then:

h/203=tan 30°

h=203 tan 30

=203√3 / 3

=117.2021

Plus, we add the height of the observer:

h’=117.2021 + 1.6

=118.8m
