An office open at 9 am and close 5.30 pm with a lunch break 30 minutes.what is the ratio of lunch break to the total period in the office??

total period in office= 8hr 30 min

= 8×60+30

=480+30=510min

Ratio = total time period/lunch break

= 510/30

= 17/1 or 17:1
