let the distance between oil tanker and submarine will be h metres.
and the distance between aircraft and oil tanker will be h metres.
then ,. time taken by sound waves to reach the submarine. =.
time = h/1520_--------(1)
time for aircraft=
h/340. -------(2)
by 1 and 2..
ratio = h/1520/h/340
= 340/1520
