LENGTH = BREATH = HEIGHT = 2

ruchikathayil: How did you calculate that?
Rahulmishra828: see ..i m not much sure about my answer ..my logic is that .. are of a cube is 6×square on any side (all sides are equal in square ) .. nd given area is 27 m.square ... that means 2 m is the highest nd most appropriate dimensions to not to exceed the given are area of the cardbaord
Rahulmishra828: in case we take 1 m as dimension ..it will come out to be 6 m.square in area and 1 m.cube in volume .. e.g. too little .....nd in case we take 3 as a side ..then volume will be 27 m.cube ..but area will be 54m.square ..that is exceeding the given area of cardboard
Rahulmishra828: so i guess ..2 is most appropriate
ruchikathayil: it is not said that its a cube. its an open box having its base as a square having maximum volume. when 27 sq unit is maximum area how can lenght breath and height being 2 unit give u maximum volume?
Rahulmishra828: i am sorry then ....that was alli could figure out.... pls help me if you know the answer
Rahulmishra828: please tell the answer if u know
