An open cylindrical pipe of radius 7 m and height 3 m is made from a metal sheet al. How much sheet of metal is required?​

Solution :-

Using Formula :-

  • Total surface of cylinder = 2 π × r ( h + r )
  • Taking π value = 22/7

=> 2 × 22/7 ( 7 + 3 )

  • => 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 10

=> 2 × 22 × 7

=> 440m²
