Answer

Find out the  how much ore will required to get 36kg of iron .

To prove

Let us assume that the ore required for 36 kg of iron be x .

As given

an ore contains 15% of iron

36kg of iron

15 % is written in the decimal form .

= \frac{15}{100}

= 0.15

Than the equation becomes

x × 0.15 = 36

x = \frac{36}{0.15}

x = 240kg

Therefore 240kg ore will required to get 36kg of iron .
