An organic compound C6H6O is used in Bakelite. A is treated with Br2 and CCl4 to form B and C. B an ortho isomer. A is treated with CHCl3 and aqueous NaoH to form final product C7H6O2 D a carbonyl compound. Identify A, B, C, D. Explain the reactions.
