carbon =40%
hydrogen=6.67%
so now c+h+o=100%
=40+6.67+o=100%
46.67+o=100%
o=100-46.67
o=53.33%

empirical formula= CH20
empirical weight= 12+2*1+16
=30
so now
n=2*vd/empirical weight
=(2*15)/30
n=1
molecular formula=empirical formula*n
CH2O * 1= CH2O
so molecular formula=CH2O
