I think your question is not clear....

An organic compound which gives iodoform is an alkane.

But, an alkyne gives a positive test with tollent's reagent (NH4OH+AgNO3)...

So I think you should check at this and let me know about that...

Don't report my answer...1st let me what do you want...ill try to help you with my best... ^_^

The correct answer may be - Ethanal.

Organic compounds called Aldehydes give a positive test with the Tollen's reagent test. The hydrogen group present in an aldehyde will react to give a positive result with the triiodomethane (iodoform) reaction.

Ethanal (CH₃CHO) is the only possible aldehyde that will form a pale yellow coloured precipitate after it undergoes the triiodomethane (iodoform) reaction.

In Tollen's test, 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine, or 2,4-DNPH or 2,4-DNP is used as a primary reagent. This 2,4 - DNP identifies the carbonyl group present in the aldehydes. After this, the Tollen's reagent is used to distinguish between the aldehydes and the ketones. The Tollen's reagent
is a solution made up of silver nitrate and ammonia. The aldehydes will give a positive silver mirror test.
